You know, Life is like a book it is progressive. When you reach the end of a chapter it is necessary to move on. When you lose a loved one or a pet, instead of blaming life for your loss, say "thank you for allowing that wonderful person or pet to come into my life." Yes it is painful; I have been there many times. But learn to be grateful for the good times and go forward with hope in your heart. We all have trauma to deal with; as far as I know, no one escapes. Life is all about experiencing situations, learning from them and moving forward on a more enlightened path. All the time you are gaining knowledge and insight. As long as you don't get stuck in the past with past issues, you will have more understanding and the tools with which to cope with life. It takes time but it does work; you can do it.
Remember too there are so many others who would appreciate a kind word or a helping hand and those of us who have experienced pain know what those people are feeling. Bless you my friends.

Take time to stand and stare. I call it ME time, my quality time, my time alone with me. Listen to the falling rain, the song of the birds and the wind as it rustles the leaves or bends the trees. See the ripples on the water, the birds flitting from tree to tree, the bees about their work, make pictures in the clouds as they drift by and marvel at the sunrise and the sunset. Take a look at our countryside, the green grass, the wind rippling the cornfields, the seas and rivers, shadows of sun and storm, and see the beauty of the changing seasons. Notice the calm people and the happy smiling faces. Make time to go into the countryside and walk the footpaths, canals, around the reservoirs etc. Breathe deeply and fill your lungs with freshness. Take time to step outside of a hectic schedule - feel, listen and see and enjoy the heritage that is rightfully yours - Take Time to Stand and Stare. Feel the pulsating energies of the Universe, the power, the strength which in turn will bring you harmony and balance.
Turn your negative thoughts into positive ones as quickly as they occur; learn the tools to help you achieve this. Learn how to create some happy, calm and peaceful interludes in your life. Be happy. Impossible you say! I cannot agree with you there. We have all known pain and trauma sometime in our lives. The important thing is to learn how to deal with it, and then release it. Unless you are able to release the past you will be unable to progress with your life and get the best out of it. Past does not just mean distant past. A second ago is past and it could be full of anger and resentment, you can't change what happened but you can release it and go forward with your life.
Life is a precious gift and we owe it to ourselves to enjoy it, to be happy and to experience the pleasing glow that comes with helping others. Our time on earth compared with all the time gone before us, is a small part of a progressive existence.
Life is a progression and life is fun. Life is emotionally fulfilling but only if you have balance and harmony in the physical, mental and emotional part of your existence. Your progression in life largely depends on releasing the past and learning how to bring mind and body into harmony. We all need a helping hand occasionally and to be shown the way.
